GU Impacts Fellowship

The GU Impacts Fellowship is made possible through the partnership between Ten Knots Development Corporation and the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation at Georgetown University. Every summer, students from Georgetown University are chosen for a 10-week internship every summer. They learn about ENR’s sustainability and conservation efforts, while developing projects in communications, business development, data management, and supply chain management.

Since 2017, the Georgetown University x El Nido Resorts seen four cohorts of fellows. The 2017 and 2018 cohorts focused on communication with local government units, whereas the 2019 cohort was more focused on internal operations of Ten Knots as a whole.

Summer 2021 saw the fourth cohort (the first-ever virtual cohort due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic) work closely with the Environment Team on a series of projects focused on sustainability and local communities.
